We’re in full swing of the spooky season and well into October. I’ve watched a little better than one film a day, so far. How about you? Are you keeping up with one scary movie a day? If not, think of the health benefits. Horror movies get your pulse really soaring and your heart really beating. Your blood circulates faster and your sweat glands get a good workout too. In my humble opinion, watching horror movies is better than going to the gym!

On October 1, Deputy Director Cindy Hewitt stepped in as Interim Executive Director for the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library (HMCPL) after Laurel Best retired. She will serve as Interim for up to a year until the board of directors can safely conduct a search for the Library's new Executive Director.
