New Kiwanas Literacy Backpacks

The youth services department of the Downtown Huntsville Library recently debuted their new set of literacy backpacks. These backpacks are available for check-out and function as portable literacy kits for caregivers and educators of young children.

Each of the six kits contains a selection of books and activities tailored to a specific subject. Check out the contents of each backpack below!

The Huntsville-Madison County Public Library (HMCPL) is celebrating another successful year of summer reading with a free family event from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 26 at the Davidson Center located at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center.

Madison's Summer Movie Series Returns (Updated)

We are so excited to have Renasant Bank as our sponsor again for this summer's movie series at the Madison Public Library.

The movies will be on select Fridays. Bring your picnic blanket or chairs and join us on the patio! While we make every attempt to control the weather on movie nights, any decisions on rescheduling due to inclement weather will be made by 5:00 p.m. (but fingers crossed for beautiful weather each evening!) Also, if you are prone to bug bites, bring your bug spray!
