The Library announces partnership with HATCH

Workforce program will run café at the new South Huntsville Public Library

 

The Huntsville-Madison County Public Library announced today that HATCH, Huntsville’s new hospitality workforce training program, will run a full service café at the new South Huntsville Public Library, opening next month.

Library Board of Directors Hires Cindy Hewitt to lead the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library System

 

The Board of Directors for the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library (HMCPL) voted during its July meeting to hire Cindy Hewitt to lead the 10-branch library system as the new Executive Director. Hewitt has been the Interim Executive Director since October 2020, when Laurel Best retired after 12 years.
